Dr. Sheila Woodford is a California Licensed Acupuncturist based in Calabasas California. She furthered her studies beyond what was required and received her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2017. In addition, she is a Nationally Board Certified Diplomate of Acupuncture, Herbology and Oriental Medicine. Dr. Woodford graduated Summa Cum Laude with both her Master's and Doctoral Degrees from Emperor's College of Oriental Medicine, and has nearly 3,000 hours of didactic training and over 1,650 hours of combined formal clinical training in Acupuncture and Herbal Therapies; with internships both at the Emperor's College Clinic as well as Providence Roy and Patricia Disney Family Cancer Center.  In addition, she volunteers at Being Alive, a non profit in West Hollywood dedicated to serving those with HIV and AIDS.

 

On top of all of these formalities, she is a real person who has genuine compassion for other humans, believes in human connection, thatlaughter is also medicine and has a healing touch.
